I had the honour on Wednesday May 22 to conduct the service for the late Jean (Campbell) Hutton at Dunfermline Crematorium. Jean, aged 85years, passed away peacefully at the Beeches Care Home in Dunfermline, where she had been cared for with compassion and love since 2015. Jean stayed in Kelty all her life, working in Kelty Post Office for a time, Jean was the wife of the late John Hutton and a dear mum to Jill, mother in law to Allan and a dear gran to Emma and Scott. Jean was a member of Kelty Church and Guild, also the Heritage Group and WRI, known for her baking and knitting, which she displayed at the Kinross Show. John and Jean stayed down Station Road then Jean moved to the house up Cocklaw Street to be nearer the main street and buses. Jean enjoyed going to the theatre and watching films. Jill said “that the curtain has come down on your musical now, sleep well Mum, love you always.”
